Per l’occasione Alberto Guardiani ha deciso di celebrare a suo modo la metropoli del Regno Unito e lo stile British, dedicandole un’originale rivisitazione di uno dei suo modelli storici: la TOKI.

La Toki London 2012, protagonista della collezione Guardiani Sport PE 12, riprende la caratteristica silhouette che ne ha decretato il successo negli anni, ma si rinnova grazie ad inediti particolari, a partire dal pellame, un morbido vitello bianco con inserti in camoscio.
Dando forma all’eccellenza artigianale italiana, i colori della Union Jack vengono disegnati a mano, con un tratto sfumato d’ispirazione pittorica, e fanno da sfondo allo skyline della città, nel quale si riconoscono alcuni tra i monumenti più celebri, come la London Eye e il 30 St Mary Axe.
Non mancano gli iconici cinque cerchi delle Olimpiadi che si trasformano in divertenti occhielli multicolor.

The Summer Olympic Games, the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and the reopening of the Tate Gallery are just three of the major events that will put London centre stage of the world map in 2012.

Alberto Guardiani has chosen to join in the celebrative moment by dedicating to Brit style and the UK capital city an original revisitation of one of its all-time hit products: the TOKI sneaker.

Toki London 2012 is the highlight of the SS 12 Guardiani Sport collection. It offers a fresh slant on the distinctive silhouette that has made the shoe a winner year after year. Other new features include the use of a soft white calf leather with suede inserts.
The mark of superior Italian craftsmanship comes in the Union Jack colours. Painted by hand with a pictorial flourish, they serve as the backdrop for a city skyline where famous landmarks like the London Eye and 30 St Mary Axe figure prominently.
Meanwhile, the five iconic rings that form the Olympic symbol make for fun multicolour grommets.
